We use best-in-class HP fusion jet printers to make our orthotics. This allows an accuracy and customisation that is unparalleled in traditional orthotic manufacture. The orthotics are manufactured layer by layer to a very thin, highly accurate degree - as small as 100 microns!

Footmed Orthotics was the first commercial lab in New Zealand to adopt this leading technology.

Our orthotics are made from PA-11 nylon, which is derived from caster beans (a natural organic resource) that provides the perfect balance, between strength, flexibility and durability.

This technology reduces up to 99% plastic waste when compared to traditional manufacturing techniques.

3-D printing offers versatility and endless design options. We engrave your client and clinic details. They look fantastic too.
